Kathianna Rousseau has worked with award-winning architecture firms and teams for over ten years in New York City. With a combined 14+ years of professional and academic experience in the design industry she has been highlighted as an emerging designer to watch from her peers. She has matured in both small and large luxury projects that offer a range design typologies and design style experiences. Through her work at top design firms in New York, she has blossomed and developed her own style in narrative ideation and research that define her projects uniqueness. Her professional work has appeared in Architectural Digest, Interior Design Magazine, Architectural record and Hospitality Design magazine for her contribution to restaurants such as Catch LA, Union Square Café, Daily Provisions and new builds- W Nashville Hotel, Nobu Hotels, Equinox Hotels and 15 Hudson Yards ,the largest private development in the United States, with luxury Residential Amenities and residences. Kathianna truly designs spaces without ego - she works to build strong and meaningful relationships with clients, vendors and all talents while creating lasting experiences.

Kathianna has currently been named as Director & Senior Associate at Rockwell Group; leading a team of 7 creatives on hotel, residential and restaurant projects all over the globe. Although she is the youngest Director amongst her peers she mentors and directs design for ambitious and human centered environments .

In between interior projects, Kathianna curates photography sets for portraits and fashion forward clients through her multi-disciplinary firm Rousseau Design Studio. She has been invited as a speaker to share her expertise at The Affordable Art Fair in NYC to offer thoughts on the connections between Art and Interior Design by way of the Female Design Council initiative as well as leader talks at the recent ICFF fair at the Javits Center. Her next moves involve developing a home line that highlight the mix of her Haitian -Caribbean roots, European inspirations and travel experiences.
